Birthing Suites
There are seven spacious birthing suites at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Each is equipped with the latest technological features, which are hidden within the homelike décor. Special touches like hardwood flooring, soft lighting and large bathrooms, some with Jacuzzi tubs, make the birthing suites a pleasant and calming environment for delivering a baby.
The Mother/Baby Suites
The Mother/Baby Suites were designed to provide a soothing area to recover following the birth of a baby. The suites provide the utmost in creature comforts. Unlike traditional hospital corridors, each suite is set in private alcoves. Natural sunlight, soothing colors, hardwood flooring, and a large bathroom that has a shower make it seem more like home. A foldout chair makes an extra bed for an overnight guest and comfortable gliders are in every room. All high-tech features are hidden within the friendly décor.
Level II Plus Nursery
