Radiation Therapy

Radiation is used to destroy cells in cancerous tumors. Treatments are provided under the guidance of the highly trained and experienced professionals who use state-of-the-art equipment which allows for treatment of both superficial and deep tumors while minimizing radiation to normal surrounding tissue.

  • Varian 2100EX Linear Accelerator with 6MV/18MV photons and electrons with IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy) capabilities
  • Varian 2100EX Linear Accelerator with 6MV/10MV photons and electrons with IMRT capabilities
  • CT (Computed Tomograpy) Scanning at both centers
  • ADAC Pinnacle 3 Dimensional IMRT Treatment Planning Computer
  • Varian Simulator
  • Radioactive sources for intracavitary implants
  • IMPAC Record and Verify Treatment System
